General Terms & Conditions

The General Delivery and Sales Conditions, filed at the Chamber of Commerce under number 62536893, apply to all our agreements. If the below conditions are in conflict with the abovementioned delivery and sales conditions, the below conditions will prevail.

1. Orders and agreements

These conditions apply to all orders and agreements concluded via the website of AJE Acero B.V. and that they are party to. The assembly instruction manual for the outdoor fireplaces forms part of the general terms and conditions.

In concluding an agreement between yourself and AJE Acero B.V. you indicate your acceptance of these conditions.

2. Conditions

AJE Acero B.V. has the right to change these conditions and the content of the online webshop.

3. Exceptions

Once you have obtained the written approval of AJE Acero B.V., it may be possible to deviate from certain conditions in special situations.

4. Agreement

Only once you have placed an order on the website of AJE Acero B.V., correctly entered your personal details, clicked on the order button and once the purchase amount has been received by us does your agreement with AJE Acero B.V. come into effect.

5. Proof of transfer / electronic communication

Unless proven otherwise, the records of AJE Acero B.V. are considered proof of all assignments awarded to AJE Acero B.V., all payments made to AJE Acero B.V. and all deliveries carried out by AJE Acero B.V. AJE Acero B.V. acknowledges that electronic communication can serve as proof. You acknowledge this as well by accepting these conditions.

6. Delivery

Once your payment has been received the order will be processed. Should there be a delay in the delivery, you will be notified as soon as possible and, at the latest, within 14 working days after we have received your payment.

7. Home delivery

7a Home delivery by an installer

The order will be delivered by an installer. In respect of the delivery, the installer will contact you beforehand via e-mail or telephone.

7b Home delivery of a do-it-yourself kit

This delivery will be carried out by an acknowledged transport company. The transport company will deliver the order to the address you have provided. You will receive a Track & Trace code to keep you posted on the progress of the delivery.

8. Risk and transport

During the transport, provided it is carried out by us, AJE Acero B.V. bears the risk for the products you ordered. This lapses at the moment of delivery at the address provided by you.

AJE Acero B.V. is not responsible for the transport company not honouring the agreed upon delivery times. You must check the packaging for any damage upon delivery. In the event of any detected damage, the return of the shipment will be decided upon in consultation with the driver. If it is decided to not return the shipment, you can still file a claim up to 2 days after the delivery if it would appear that the outdoor fireplace is damaged or some parts are not included.

9. Shipping costs

Home delivery within the Netherlands and Belgium is included in the price, with the exception of the islands.

10. Revocation right

You have the statutory right to revoke the agreement within a period of 14 days, without having to state any reasons.

11. Consequences of revocation

If you revoke the agreement, any payments made so far will be reimbursed forthwith, and in any case no later than 14 days after we have received your return shipment.

Reimbursement will take place via the same payment method used for the original transaction. No extra costs will be charged for such reimbursements. Reimbursement will only take place once the goods have been received by us.

The reimbursement amount will never exceed the amount that was originally paid by yourself.

12. Return shipments

All returned items must be in perfect order and unused. If reasonably possible, preferably in the original packaging, including the delivery note. If you no longer have the original packaging, you can also return the items in a different box. You can return the shipment free of charge to:

Damaged goods and incomplete goods cannot be returned.

13. Data management and privacy

AJE Acero B.V. observes the Data Protection Act. All personal data provided to AJE Acero B.V. is only for internal use and will only be accessed by the staff of AJE Acero B.V. to ship the products and to verify your payments made to AJE Acero B.V.

14. Warranty claims

Any defects must be reported to AJE Acero B.V.

15. Liability

AJE Acero B.V. does not accept any liability if the products sold were used in an improper and/or irresponsible manner.

16. Complaints, filing a claim

If, on delivery, it appears that parts are damaged or missing, you can file a claim by sending us an e-mail or letter

17. Dutch law

Dutch law applies to all agreements concluded with AJE Acero B.V.
